Oshawa, Ontario (January 5th, 2022) – Chevrolet will expand its EV line-up in fall 2023 to include the Equinox EV, an affordable, functional, compact SUV that will start at an MSRP of around $35,0001 before any available federal or provincial EV incentives. The Equinox EV, which will include both fleet and retail versions, including LT and RS trims, will utilize GM’s Ultium EV platform.
“Chevrolet is committed to making EVs accessible for everyone and is driving the industry forward with a wide range of EVs to appeal to Canadian customers,” said Michael MacPhee, brand director, Chevrolet Canada. “With the addition of the Equinox EV, Chevrolet now has even more affordable EV options to choose from in Canada’s largest segment.”
The announcement of the Equinox EV comes on the heels of Chevrolet’s reveal of the 2024 Silverado EV and confirmation of the Blazer EV SUV, which will be available in spring 2023.
